The Maine Mariners have acquired forward Zach Jordan from the Fort Wayne Komets in exchange for forward Lynden McCallum.
Zach Jordan
Jordan, 29, has three goals and three assists for six points in 19 games this season with the Komets. Over the course of his ECHL career, Jordan has 59 goals and 46 assists for 105 points in 193 games while playing with the Kalamazoo Wings, Jacksonville Icemen, Indy Fuel, and Fort Wayne Komets. He has four goals and eight assists for 12 points in 16 Kelly Cup Playoff games. Jordan also has eight goals and four assists for 12 points in 84 AHL games. The Collinsville, Illinois, native began his pro career in Slovakia during the 2020-21 season, where he had five goals and seven assists for 12 points in 17 games. This trade gives the Mariners an experienced piece up front.
Lyndon McCallum
McCallum, 25, has seven goals and three assists for 10 points in 27 games this season, after he put up 15 goals and 16 assists for 31 points in 44 games last season after being acquired by the Mariners. He made his ECHL debut with the Komets during the 2021-22 season, where he put up 17 goals and 15 assists for 32 points in 36 games, he would add a goal and an assist in seven games during the 2022 Kelly Cup Playoffs. In 176 career ECHL games, McCallum has put up 57 goals and 53 assists for 110 points while playing with the Fort Wayne Komets, Savannah Ghost Pirates, Idaho Steelheads, and Maine Mariners. He has two goals and two assists for four points in 17 career Kelly Cup Playoff games.
